Brief introduction of chemical oxygen demand:

COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) is a chemical method to measure the amount of reducing substances that need to be oxidized in a water sample. Waste water, waste water treatment plant effluent and contaminated water, can be strong oxidant oxidation of substances (usually organic) oxygen equivalent. It is an important and faster method for the determination of organic pollutants in the study of river pollution and the nature of industrial wastewater and the operation and management of wastewater treatment plants, often expressed in symbolic COD.
 
Features of NANBEI chemical oxygen demand:
u   English language menu and LCD display for easy use
u   It adopts dichromate colorimetric method.
u   Direct reading of COD results and no need to analyze by other means such as titration.
u    2 point calibration (zero COD and full scale calibration)
u    Measuring results can be viewed, deleted and printed. Up to 200 sets of measuring data
    can be stored and it can be connected with TP-16 printer.
u    It adopts digestion method of sealing reflux and can conduct simultaneous digestion of 21 samples for low energy consumption.
u   The digestion temperature can be adjusted from ambient temperature to 165ºC. Also, it is equipped with over temperature alarming system.
u    The digestion time can be set from 0 to 120 min. It will be power off after response.
